We're just about ready to make some big changes. For one thing most of our releases are going to be entirely available online, for free. We will continue making physical CD's to sell at shows, and will probably offer a 'premium super deluxe' version of everything that you can pay for. But the music will be available for free, at least most of what we have released already, and most of what we will release in the future. When? I'd say sometimes within the next 2 weeks.
A new artist on the Akachic roster - well, not exactly. Racine is one half of Pax Nipponica. He's been holed up
in his apartment over the last month writing a full-length album entitled A PERFECT HAND. It sounds amazing and we're happy to
be able to present it to you. Seriously it's fantastic. The release date is officially August 13th. Digital distribution should follow shortly. In the meantime check out his MySpace account to hear 3 songs from the album. We will post some
high quality mp3s of these songs in the following days, as we master the final versions.
And now that the album is out Pax Nipponica will be able to finish the new material. And it's really good.
Oh yes, the new N4E EP is ready! Finally! It's called Sex Makes Song
and it's ready to go on 
and Amazon MP3. This is the first EP in a series of 5 featuring the amazing
artwork of MORE THAN A FRIEND. Behold. There will be more goodies posted

Akachic Records artists NAVEL4EVE and THE SCROLL cover each others songs. Fun! Blue Cigarette was originally recorded by NAVEL4EVE for her Freakshow EP and All My Furries Are Dead is taken from the upcoming The Scroll album. Hopefully we will have more of these mutual covers in future. Get it while it's hot.
